Best for: homes and businesses in urban Rajasthan with reliable grid power and high daytime consumption.
Operates entirely independently of the grid. Must store all surplus energy in batteries for night use. Requires a larger solar array and significant battery bank.
Best for: solar water pumps on remote farms, villages without grid access, agricultural applications.
Combines solar panels, batteries, and grid connectivity. Solar powers your building during the day. Surplus charges batteries. When batteries are full, surplus exports to grid. At night, batteries supply power first, then grid. During outages, batteries continue supply.
Best for: households with frequent load shedding, any application with critical loads.
Start with on-grid. It has the best economics, simplest maintenance, and qualifies for maximum government subsidy. Design the system to be battery-ready so you can upgrade to hybrid later.
